Long a family tradition, pottery started with my great-grandfather and goes back up to my mother. When I began my studies, there were two ceramists who have influenced me most with their vessels. My great-grandfather Otto Lindig, who studied at the Bauhaus and later took over the Bauhaus-pottery, and Walter Popp, who taught in Kassel from 1950, until the 1970s and who was influential for a whole generation of German ceramist. In my work I lead further fundamental approaches of these two teachers.
