Maddalena Casadei
Born in Forlì, Italy, Maddalena Casadei studied Architecture at the University of Ferrara and received her MA in Design at Domus Academy.
From 2004 until 2012, she collaborated with James Irvine, and from 2014 until 2017 she worked in with Marialaura Rossiello Irvine under the name of Studio Irvine. In 2017, Casadei opened her own business and design studio in Milan. She also periodically teaches at Naba, Domus Academy and Marangoni Institute in Milan.
Her design approach is based on a continuous personal interaction with clients, technicians, and materials. She focuses on product design, exhibition design and art direction. The art direction activity has led her to develop a personal vision and sensitivity towards the communication of products, often pushing her to deal with the concept and set of photo shoots.
AVENUE ROAD carries a curated assortment of Maddalena Casadei pieces.
