German born Designer Mathias Hahn works and lives in London where he established Mathias Hahn Design Studio in 2006. From his office and workshop facilities the studio covers a diversity of projects in the field of product and furniture design. These are range from industrial design, product development and art-direction through to experimental design, one-off production, interiors and exhibitions. Hahn's process alternates between analytical knowingness and experimental curiosity. His work is characterisedby an intense examination of possible materials and manufacturing processes whilst his human centred approach sees design as a 'cultural tool', always aiming to create relevant objects and narratives in the context of our living realities.
