In Good Company: Meet Savignyplatz

Conceived as a sculptural organic form, inspired by English artist Henry Moore's monumental brass sculptures, the Savignyplatz table was designed by long time AVENUE ROAD collaborator Sebastian Herkner for Man of Parts. First iterated as a dining table, the Savignyplatz family also includes a desk and console, both debuted in our Miami Beach Bungalow and Villa during Art Basel Miami Beach 2021.

The Savignyplatz in Berlin is an idyllic park in a city square where friends gather to share company and the artistic energy of the city. It seemed a fitting name for a collection of tables which share the same purpose.

Hewn by master craftspeople in Bavaria, the solid oak table series is available in five stains with a satin lacquer. Custom requests for size or a finish in walnut or cherry can be investigated upon request.

Preview the debut collection, and hear the inspiration and design process behind Savignyplatz from Herkner himself.
