In 1855, brothers Josef Lobmeyr Jr. and Ludwig Lobmeyr assumed leadership of J. & L. Lobmeyr following their father’s passing. Trained in drawing, Ludwig devoted himself to production and design, developing nearly 100 drinking sets, including Drinking Set No. 4, the first muslin glass service, which remains in production today.
