Mary Katrantzou
Mary Katrantzou is a Greek fashion designer based in London. She grew up in Athens with her mother, an interior designer, and her father, a textile engineer and studied Architecture at RISD, before switching to textile design at Central Saint Martins in London. Dubbed “The Queen of Print”, Katrantzou changed the face of 21st century fashion, inspiring high fashion and high street designers alike with her fearless and playful approach to design. In 2018, Katrantzou celebrated 10 years since launching her label and expanded the complexity of her textile beyond print, translating her visuals to knit, digital craftsmanship, and now rugs.
