Brand Highlight

COEDITION is a French editor of contemporary high-end furniture, created in 2014. The brand is inspired by the professional experience of Samuel Coriat. Artelano founder, a brand with a prestigious past as contemporary furniture editor, and today one of its founder.

The vast selection of designers shared with the skills of Italian artisans, ethical values and high-quality standards, COEDITION is the result of extensive research, rigorous and patient development and technical innovations. These collections are the culmination of a 6-handed work between the designers, the manufacturer and COEDITION.

This diversity of creations and designers languages is the great richness of their collection.

Marco Zanuso was born in Milan, where he lives and works, and graduated in architecture in Florence where he came into contact with radical architecture and its references: Superstudio, Michele De Lucchi, Andrea Branzi, Ufo, Mendini and Ettore Sottsass.

He spent long periods in France, Spain and especially in the United States, discovering and becoming involved in the architecture of Arcosanti, Land Art, Berkeley and the first experiments on solar energy. In Vienna, together with artists and architects, he founded Rastlos, a group that carries out consultancy and research on urban design issues, organizing exhibitions and seminars.

After his university period he began his collaboration with Marco Zanuso Senior's studio on design projects (Lavazza, Brionvega, Poltrona Frau, Zanotta) and architecture (Piccolo Teatro, Teatro Fossati, the IBM offices in Rome, Hotel Continental in Milan) and at the same time he collaborates at the Polytechnic of Milan with Enzo Mari and Achille Castiglioni.

In 1991 he opened the Milan studio with Daniele Nava, which deals with consultancy and design of residential buildings, offices, private homes and exhibition installations. Among the clients are Carrefour, Abet laminati, Mondadori, Nava and Triennale di Milano.

As a designer he has collaborated with Memphis, Fontana Arte, Bonacina, Cappellini, De Padova, Design Gallery, Dirade and with the Gallerie Italienne in Paris. He has also developed projects and experiments with small producers and artisans.
