Visser & Meijwaard is a design studio focused on product, interior and scenographic exhibition design. The studio is run by Dutch designers Vera Meijwaard and Steven Visser. The studio creates distinct but minimalistic designs from an aesthetic world of material, colour and shape. With an associative method and a deep interest in “form follows function” the duo looks for the aesthetics that are hidden in everyday products and find new ways to apply them. By playing with materiality, context and scale, Visser & Meijwaard re-evaluate existing functional details and create a completely new design. In the past the two partners have designed for Hermès Paris, Linteloo, Pulpo Products, and others.
